WE CHOSE THIS NAME BECAUSE…
Simply put Christians are people who have given their allegiance to King Jesus, the true King of the world. We live as citizens of his rule and reign—his Kingdom on earth as in heaven. By the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, we are set free from the powerful grip of Sin and Death; so, there is no longer any need to be paralyzed by fear; there is no longer any need to suffer in guilt, and we who follow Jesus can lay down our shame because we now belong to the Father and relate to Him as His people. That is, we are walking, talking, bits of New Creation. New Creation with a new identity! As Citizens of Jesus' Kingdom, we live to tell the good news that Jesus is King, and that all can become Citizens, New Creation, and have a new identity. All to the glory of Jesus our King.

Chris Harris Lead Pastor I was born and raised in the oil fields of West Texas. I spent most of my childhood in a small church there. In my teen years, I felt the church had left me so I left the church. I wandered for many years. Growing up and as an adult, I made some destructive choices. God began using my alcoholism and the promiscuity of my life to ultimately and graciously save me. I was separated from my bride and family due to those choices and in the midst of that destruction, God chose to save my wife and then used her greatly to reveal himself to me. I never knew the real God before that. Grace was just a word until that moment. Brandie, by the grace of God, was able to see past my failure as a husband and sin as a human and preach and pray for and to my soul. To read more click "my story"...
